PISCATAWAY, NJ – The fourth-seeded Piscataway Lady Chiefs took on the Edison Eagles in the first round of the Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament on Wednesday posting a huge win, 73-37.

The Chiefs’ Tori Fisher dominated with a game high 30 points, with six assists, five rebounds and four steals in the home game in the Anthony Gym.

Mia Rose followed with 12 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Also leading for the Chiefs (15-7) were Rakhia Mack with nine points, six steals, four rebounds and four assists. And Kaelonn Wilson posted 18 boards and five blocks to go with her four points in the basket.

For Edison (11-14), Tianna Whitney landed 17 points in the tournament and six rebounds.

Piscataway advances to the quarterfinal round on Saturday where they will face fifth-seeded South River at Middlesex County College.
