J.P. Stevens Shutout Linden in Softball

EDISON, NJ - The Lady Hawks came out with bats swinging in the bottom of the 1st inning with Kayla Smith and Gabby Young leading the game off with infield singles. 
With two outs and a couple of errors, Brianna Zederbaum drove in 2 runs with a double down the left field line ending the inning 0-4.
The Hawks added two runs in the 3rd when Brianna Zederbaum and Amanda Leary, were driven in by Kayla Smith's 2 RBI single up the middle. 
In her next at-bat in the 5th inning, Kayla Smith led off with a home run to dead center field. Gabby Young followed with a single and was driven in on Julie Siecinski's single. Julie Siecinski scored off of Brianna Zederbaum's single.
The last run came in the 6th when Kelsey Shalonis was driven in by Julie Siecinski's double that hit the left center fence.
The final score was Linden 0, J.P. Stevens 10.
Hawks pitcher, Ashley Lombardi scattered 5 hits and struck out 9.
J.P. Stevens are 14-5 for the season
