On Wednesday, March 28th, at Trumpets Jazz Club, Montclair, NJ, the John P. Stevens HS Jazz Ensemble will present a Jazz Band performance like no other featuring a side by side performance with

the Big Band & world-class jazz trumpeter, Ingrid Jensen. The evening's performance will also feature JPS' very own drummer and Grammy Band award winner, Varun Das, as he performs with the pros on a few selections!

One More Once” is an 18-piece big band which presents music from all different eras and styles, with music ranging from the big band era of Glenn Miller and Count Basie to Stan Kenton, Thad Jones and Maynard Ferguson favorites, as well as playing contemporary music from composers within the band and other writers.
