Letters to the Editor

Letter from Assemblyman Patrick Diegnan

Thank you to all of the voters in the 18th District for your overwhelming support in last week’s election.     It is an honor serving the residents of East Brunswick, Edison, Helmetta, Highland Park, Metuchen,  South Plainfield and South River in the New Jersey General Assembly.

As Chairman of the Education Committee, I am particularly proud of our state’s commitment to quality education. It is because of our great teachers, administrators and staff that we are recognized as having the best public schools in the nation.

There is much that needs to be done to restore our state’s economy and provide opportunity for our hard working families. It is time for name calling and divisive politics to end.  You have my commitment to listen and respect all points of view in order to develop solutions rather than partisan talking points.
