EDISON, NJ - All six goals in the game between Spotswood and Edison High Schools were scored in the first half on Monday. The Eagles had the upper hand, netting four goals to the Chargers two to hand Spotswood its fourth loss of the season. Edison's victory was its first for the shortened season. Senior Liam Barlow had a goal and an assist for the Chargers. Freshman Aidan Collins netted his third goal of the season for Spotswood while Gabe Rosario earned an assist. Jayden Jackson had a goal and three assists for Edison. Zack Arjmand scored two goals and Jon Antonio added one more for the Eagles.
Jason Schwartz made seven saves for Spotswood. Dan Lobo and Matt Faria split time in goal for Edison. Lobo made four saves and Faria stopped two Spotswood shots. The loss drops the Chargers' overall season record to 3-4-1. Spotswood is back on the field on Thursday when the team travels to Sayreville War Memorial High School to play the Bombers. Sayreville has an overall record of 3-3-1 for the 2020-21 season.
