Plays-in-the-Park continues its summer 2018 season with the ABBA musical, “Mamma Mia!” The show opens on July 11 and plays through July 21 (No show Sunday, July 15.)

All performances begin at 8 p.m. and are staged at the Stephen J. Capestro Amphitheater located in Middlesex County’s Roosevelt Park in Edison. The play will be directed by Moggie Davis, with choreography by Christy Rak and musical direction by Warren Helms.

“Mamma Mia!” uses the classic 70s sound of ABBA to tell a story of family, fun, romance and mistaken identity. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother's past back to the Greek island they visited 20 years ago.
