Middlesex County Prosecutor to Hold News Conference on Home Invasions

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - After five home invasions targeting members of the Asian-Indian Community, the Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey has announce a breathrough and will be holding a news conference to announce the filing of charges against individuals who have been identified as participants in the home invasions in Middlesex County.

The home invasions were committed this year were in Old Bridge on Oct. 20 and 26 and Nov 29, in South Plainfield on Oct. 28, and in Edison on Oct. 30.

Recently, a $1000 reward was offered by Crime Stoppers of Middlesex County to anyone who anonymously provides information that leads to the arrest of one or more suspects being sought in the five home invasions.

The investigation was active with the assistance from the New Jersey State Police, the FBI and the Edison, South Plainfield and Old Bridge police departments.

The press conference will take place today December 15 at 3 p.m. in the Public Safety Building, second floor, Wade Baker Room, 25 Kirkpatrick Street, New Brunswick.
