Narrow Bridge Films opens 'Summer Cabin'

BAYONNE, NJ – A group of Bayonne filmmakers is hoping to spark local support for its movie which opens in Bayonne on Thursday evening, April 7.

“Summer Cabin” is a comedy about the shenanigans in a New England cabin as a group of friends try to renew the love of two friends whose relationship is failing. The usual misperceptions and misconceptions ensue, leading to laughs and serious drama.

Summer Cabin was shot partially in Bayonne and features Bayonne actors and crew. The movie stars Bayonne native Isaac Platizky, who also wrote it. It also features Bayonneites Sam Platizky (Isaac’s brother), Jenna Kildosher, Dan Gregory, and William Farley. It was directed by Bayonne's Sean Feuer. Farley was also the assistant director.

Also starring in the movie are Megan Bussiere of Edison and Laura Chaneski of North Plainfield.

“Summer Cabin” was filmed in Laconia, N.H. and Bayonne, including at Hendrickson's Corner and the Little Food Cafe.

Narrow Bridge Films will screen the film on April 7 at 7:45 p.m. at the Frank Theatres South Cove Stadium 12 on LeFante Way. Tickets are $15 and are available at eventbrite.com/e/summer-cabin-tickets-22551005665.

There are 200 seats in the theater that the movie will be shown in, and there is only one screening. As of noon April 7, more than half the tickets had already been sold.
