New Jersey Tech Council Hosts its 21st Anniversary Awards Celebration

SOMERSET, NJ - Hundreds of New Jersey's leaders in technology and life sciences gathered to celebrate the New Jersey Tech Council's 21st Anniversary Awards Celebration, at the Palace of Somerset, Thursday night. 

Statewide and regional companies were recognized and honored for their contributions to the communities they serve. 

"On this stage, we’ll honor some of the state and region’s most amazing people and companies," President and CEO, of the NJ Tech Council James C. Barrood said. "And, all around this room, we’ll connect you with each other. By the time you go home, you are going to be very proud of this state, your colleagues, your community, your ecosystem."

Attendees networked during the cocktail reception, awards presentation, dinner, and dessert buffet. With more than half a million workers in the technology sector in New Jersey, Barrood feels the NJ Tech Council will continue to serve as a resource to local, county, statewide, and national officials.

"In addition to being the cheerleader of our ecosystem, whether in the air above Seattle or across the globe, we’re also continuing to be a resource to our elected officials and look forward to collaborating with the new Governor," Barrood said.

Patriots' Fans Trudge Through Snow to Donate Toys
