Edison, NJ - New student orientation sessions for freshmen entering high school will be held on Wednesday, August 28.   

For freshmen entering Edison High School, registration will begin promptly at 7:30 a.m., and students are advised to arrive 15 minutes prior. Orientation will conclude after Macbook collection, which will begin at approximately 12:00 p.m.

For freshmen entering J.P. Stevens High School, registration also begins at 7:30 a.m.  Lunch will be served and orientation will end around 1:30 p.m.

Freshman Orientation is a chance for incoming students to become acclimated to the High School and is the basis for transitioning from 8th grade to 9th grade.  The orientation addresses the process of giving out need to know information, allowing students to familiarize themselves with the building and staff, and opportunities for socializing.
