The Jersey Avenue location is an unidentified large warehouse type facility according to police.

Several men armed with a handgun assaulted an unarmed security guard and attempted to steal merchandise from the facility, according to police.

The assaulted security guard was able to escape from the scene and called the police, who quickly arrived at the facility, according to police.

Two suspects retreated back into the warehouse and police set up a perimeter and called in the Special Operations Response Team (SORT) to clear the building, according to police. The two suspects were located and taken into custody unharmed during SORT's search of the building, according to police.
