Playhouse 22 Again Recognized for Excellence in Community Theater

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ -- Following a season that included everything from farce to high drama, East Brunswick's Playhouse 22 has once again received accolades for performance, design, choreography, management, props and production as a New Jersey community theater.  

The New Jersey Association of Community Theatres (NJACT) announced that Playhouse 22 has received eight NJACT Perry Nominations for shows performed during the 2016-2017 season.

Playhouse 22 is East Brunswick's Community Theater, located at the East Brunswick Community Arts Center.  


The New Jersey Association of Community Theaters (NJACT) is a volunteer organization dedicated to supporting local theater around the state. The group’s core mission is to celebrate outstanding achievements by artists of all disciplines involved in the performance and production of New Jersey Community Theater. 


The awards ceremony will be held on September 17 at the Union County Performing Arts Center in Rahway.
