EDISON, NJ – Voters will have plenty of choices in the November Board of Education races, with 11 candidates on the ballot competing for a total of four seats.
Incumbent Board Vice President Beth Moroney and incumbent member Jingwei “Jerry” Shi are seeking another three-year term on the panel, according to a list of petitions filed with the Middlesex County Clerk by the July 31 deadline.
Falguni Patel, Carol Bodofsky, Elizabeth Conway, Aqib Virani, Maria Wise, Ruchika Juneja, and Sunil Vuppula are challenging those incumbents, according to the list.
In addition, there will be an election to fill an unexpired one-year term with incumbent Paul Distefano challenged by William Araujo, according to the county.
