Sal’s Ride Memorial Scholarship Fund to Benefit Students Of Both High Schools In Edison

EDISON, NJ - On a day off from the fire department, Sal and a friend headed up to Maine on their motorcycles to enjoy the great weather and grab a "Maine Lobstah" lunch. They never made it. In a tragic accident, Sal lost his life, and forever changed the lives of his family, friends and brother firefighters.

In Sal’s memory, the Edison Division of Fire members put together a memorial ride, completing the journey to Maine that Sal started.

T-shirts were made up to forever remember that ride and there were some funds left over after selling all the shirts. With those monies a scholarship fund was established.

The Sal’s Ride Memorial Scholarship Fund’s goal is to benefit two students in each of the two Edison High Schools, that are in need of assistance and pursuing a career in any of the trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC etc) the automotive repair field, Fire, Police, EMS or volunteering for service in the United States Armed Forces.

Please donate to the fund to continue the legacy started by Sal’s family, friends and brother FF’s. Sal's Ride Scholarship Fund is a New Jersey registered non profit, LLC…
