SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – A crash on Route 130 Friday morning critically injured a motorcyclist, police said.
According to police, a 20-year-old Middlesex County man was heading north on Route 130 at 6:02 a.m. Friday morning when his 2003 Buell motorcycle hit a 2005 Nissan Xtera that was turning from Route 130 southbound and onto Stults Road.
South Brunswick EMS took the motorcycle driver to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick where he was listed in critical condition, police said.
The driver of the Nissan was not injured in the crash, police said.
According to police, the northbound side of Route 130 was limited to just one lane until 10 a.m. as investigators examined the scene.
Police are not identifying the motorcycle driver until the next of kin is notified.
The South Brunswick Police Traffic Safety Bureau is investigating the crash and no charges have been filed at this time, police said.
