Spotswood Girls Tennis Loses Third Straight To Wardlaw-Hartridge

SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The Spotswood High School girls varsity tennis team lost their third straight match to Wardlaw-Hartridge High School on Monday, September 11, 4-1. The Chargers earned their only team point at third singles. Gabriela Zeron won her match by forfeit.

Mirit Girgis lost her first singles match to Sydney Kuo, (6-2, 6-0) while Devin Ryan dropped her second singles match to Brittney Wilson, (6-0, 6-0).

Emily Michaels and Alix Lemiere lost their first doubles match to Dazlyn Erachshaw and Mika Walker, (6-2, 6-0) and Kaitlin Dwyer and Ashley Murphy dropped their second doubles match to Sydney Sweeney and Cami Martinez, (6-3, 7-6). Michaels and Lemiere lost the second set tie-breaker, (10-5).

Spotswood will look for their first win of the 2017 season on Wednesday, September 13 when they take on Sayreville High School at the Summerhill Road tennis courts. The match begins at 4 p.m.
