St. Joe’s to Host Varsity Football Home Opener on New Falcon Field This Weekend

METUCHEN, NJ – The St. Joseph’s Falcons varsity football team (1-3) will play its home opener on the brand new Falcon Field against the Perth Amboy Panthers (0-3) on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 1:00 p.m.

The field is still going through final stages of completion and the seating capacity is limited, so fans are urged to bring their own form of seating. 

St. Joseph conducted a $2 million campaign to construct a state-of-the-art synthetic turf athletic complex that will eventually have bleacher seating for 1,500 spectators.

The stadium will feature a multi-sport turf field with eight-lane track that will support football, lacrosse, soccer, track and field, intramural sports and physical education classes. The facility will have concession stand, ticket booth, bathrooms, press box, storage building when its second phase is completed.
