If so, you know that ACI offers many innovative programs free of charge, to people with disabilities and their families in Middlesex, Somerset and Union counties. Help us continue these programs by contributing to ACI’s Spring Fundraiser! The goal is to raise $50,000. Your contribution is a vital part of our continued programs. ACI is a non-profit, community-based, grassroots organization that supports and promotes independent living and equality for people with disabilities. ACI’s 5 core services include Information and Referral, Advocacy, Peer Support, Transition and Independent Living Skills. Our other initiatives include: work readiness programs, activities promoting activism, health and wellness, emergency preparedness, recreation and our volunteer office skills program.

Nearly $900K Bid Received for Construction of New New Brunswick Park

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Only one company submitted a bid to build a new city park on land where three abandoned houses once stood.

A-Tech Concrete of Edison submitted a bid of $897,316.25 to construct a park on Welton Street, near Drift Street.

Rutgers Hikes Tuition, Student Fees for 2018-2019 Academic Year

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Rutgers University Board of Governors today approved a 2.3 percent hike in tuition and fees, as well as increases for dorm rooms and meals, for the 2018-2019 academic year.

The increase now brings the annual cost for undergraduate students to $14,975, which is $337 more than this past school year.
