"Our online local newspaper franchising model is working — by having locally owned and operated online newspapers reporting on original local news in their towns, we are on the ground in each town breaking the news and quickly becoming the go-to place for residents to tap into their town," Michael Shapiro, CEO and Publisher of TAPinto.net said. "In July alone, our franchisee/publishers were first to report the shooting of unarmed teens by an off-duty trooper in Sparta, New Jersey, which became national news, broke the story of a murder and attempted suicide by a former Edison resident and long-time South Plainfield businessman and covered the untimely death of rapper Hussein Fatal from Montclair. People want to know what is happening in their town and they can tap into all of the news and information relevant to them in their town at TAPinto.net."
