Virginia Graziano of Edison Dies at 85

Virginia R. Graziano, 85, died on Friday, July 31, 2015 in the Roosevelt Care Center in Edison. 

Virginia was born in Jersey City, was raised in Palisades Park and lived in Edison for many years. She was a member of the Metuchen Garden Club and volunteered at JFK Medical Center. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 6061 and served as an officer of the Kiwanis Club.

She is predeceased by her parents, Bertram and Mary; her husband of 35 years, Joseph J. Graziano in 1989; a brother, Bertram and a sister, Irene.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Thompson and her husband Stewart of Milltown; her three sons, James and his wife Judith of Metuchen, Joseph and his and his wife Doreen of Beth Page, LI, NY and John and his wife Julia of Washington Twp, NJ; and 9 grandchildren, Daniel, Kathryn, Joseph, Brian, Jennifer, Sean, Justin, Evan, and Laura. 

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 5 at 10 a.m. in the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Avenue (Rt. 27) Metuchen. Interment will be private at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown. 

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
