Wardlaw + Hartridge School to Host Annual Spring Music Recital on Sun, Apr. 15

EDISON, NJ - The Wardlaw + Hartridge School in Edison is hosting its annual Spring Music Recital on Sunday, April 15 at 4:00 p.m. Many of Wardlaw + Hartridge's finest musicians and vocalists will showcase their talents and this year's event will be held in the new Berry Performing Arts Center for the first time.

Performers include Suraj Chandran of Edison (violin), William Rehwinkel of Scotch Plains (piano), Aanandi Murlidharan of Edison (mezzo soprano), Annie Gu of Edison (piano), Eric Wang of Highland Park (guitar), Matangi Melpakkam of Piscataway (soprano), Suniti Shah of Edison (sitar), Camila Fang of Edison (cello), Kallie Schildge of Westfield (soprano), Jaden Dugenio of Bridgewater (alto) and Joanne Ding of Iselin (flute). Murlidharan and Schildge will be joined by Steven Bessette of Scotch Plains, Priya Golding of North Plainfield and CJ Stueck of Scotch Plains in a vocal quintet.

Nearly $900K Bid Received for Construction of New New Brunswick Park

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Only one company submitted a bid to build a new city park on land where three abandoned houses once stood.

A-Tech Concrete of Edison submitted a bid of $897,316.25 to construct a park on Welton Street, near Drift Street.

Rutgers Hikes Tuition, Student Fees for 2018-2019 Academic Year

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Rutgers University Board of Governors today approved a 2.3 percent hike in tuition and fees, as well as increases for dorm rooms and meals, for the 2018-2019 academic year.
