Wardlaw-Hartridge and Spotswood Girls Varsity Soccer Match Ends in Tie


EDISON, NJ- Wardlaw Hartlidge girls varsity soccer team gave it their all against Spotswood High School in a  2-2 tie.

The first half against Spotswood ended in a 1-1 tie. Lacey Gress made seven saves for Wardlaw-Hartridge while the Chargers, Lizzie Vignuolo also made seven stops.

Alex Garces and Carlin Schildge netted the goals for Wardlaw-Hartridge.

The Spotswood team sits on top of the Greater Middlesex Conference Blue Division with a 10-0-1 record. Their overall record is 10-1-1 with the only loss of the year coming against South Brunswick in the first game of the 2015 season.

Wardlaw-Hartridge's next matchup will be an away contest against Middlesex on Monday, October 12 at 4 P.M.
