EDISON, NJ -- Eleven athletes from The Wardlaw-Hartridge School in Edison were named to All-Division teams in the Greater Middlesex Conference after the spring season. The Rams were represented on five different teams.
Baseball players Ovidio Chavez of Elizabeth and J.J. Stueck of Scotch Plains and softball players Jane Anderson-Schmitt of Scotch Plains and Kristyn Smith of South Plainfield were named to the GMC Gold team. Golfers Sydney Kuo and Cathy Bi of Edison earned positions on the GMC Blue team.
Track and field athletes Shalon Wallace of Irvington, Kevin Nader of Bernardsville and Aaliah Burney of Sewaren made the GMC Gold teams, along with relay runners Andre Souza of Rahway and Shaun Martinez of Woodbridge. In addition, the girls’ track and field team received the White Division Sportsmanship Award.
