Thanks to "Tap into Edison" we voters have statements that can be examined from the candidates running for election to the BOE.  I have carefully read each condidates statements.  My impression is what I expected, namely a resume' with some altruistic goals.  I was literally "hungry" for someone to express concern with responsible use of taxpayer funding & a recognition of the huge tax burden here in Edison where taxes can exceed $1,000 per month.

So are we electing the "same old" or "we've always done it this way?"

If there is a debate held, I will ask each candidate how important it is to evaluate expenses in coming budgets and do they really care about our taxpayers especially those who live on fixed incomes.  Perhaps I'll know for whom to vote.
