Win at Marketing Workshop Series in Metuchen

Metuchen Downtown Alliance, in partnership with SCORE Central Jersey, is announcing the “Win at Marketing” Workshop Series.  The three free workshops are designed for Metuchen businesses looking to grow their market and increase their sales. 

“This workshop series is a key initiative in the work we're doing to create a business supportive environment for entrepreneurs and innovators who drive our local economy,” said Isaac Kremer, Executive Director, Metuchen Downtown Alliance. Jane Meyer, SCORE Vice-Chairperson, added “We are very excited to team with MDA to bring this program to Metuchen.”

Workshop leaders include: Travis Brown, of Rokusek Marketing and former Executive Director of the Historic Quincy, IL Business District; Susan Wilcox, President of e-Dynamic Marketing and Noelle Stary, CEO of 20 Lemons. Through interactive sessions, they will work with participants to help create an effective marketing strategy, develop a compelling website, and select and test social media marketing tools. SCORE small business mentors will provide individual mentoring to participants during the program.

Workshops are scheduled for June 27, July 11 and July 25 at the First Presbyterian Church Social Center in Metuchen. All sessions will start with dinner and networking at 5:30 pm, followed by a workshop presentation and working sessions from 6:30 to 8:30. Metuchen Downtown Alliance members who attend all three workshops are eligible to compete for a minimum of $5,000.00 in matching grants to implement their marketing plan. Grants will be awarded at a dinner on September 12, 2018. 

Space in the program is limited.  Participants can register by going to Registration closes on June 20.
