Maria Orchid running for Edison Town Council

I am running for Edison Town Council to make a difference in our community with our quality of life issues. I have organized the Clara Barton Neighborhood Block watch which will have the next meeting on September 21, 2017 at the Clara Barton First Aid Squad at 7pm. We meet to discuss local issue with the Police and Fire department.

I am running to make our council more transparent and accessible to our residences. I go to every council meeting to learn what the issues and resolutions are.  I walk around town to meet our residence and I address their concerns at the council meetings.

To hold our elected officials accountable for their actions. I have spoken to the council about the Amboy Avenue Revitalization plan. I ask to review the permit process to streamline the efficiency and  to make it easier for our residence and business to thrive. I look for security such as to install a new traffic light at the Boulevard of Eagles and Oak Post Road.
