Dwelling in the Word - Adult Bible Study

Join the faithful people of Saint James’ Episcopal Church as we experience the Holy Bible in a special way during our four-week Adult Bible Study on October 22, October 29, November 5, and November 12, at 9 AM in the Parish Hall.  Using the “Dwelling in the Word” model, these sessions will strengthen attendees’ connection with God’s word.  Coffee and refreshments will be available.  These events are free and open to the public.  No registration is required.  Saint James’ Episcopal Church is located at 2136 Woodbridge Avenue, Edison, NJ.  For more information, please email the church office at info@stjamesedison.org or call 732-985-2023.

East Brunswick Rabbi Charged with Engaging in Prostitution with a Child

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - Aryeh Goodman, 35, the rabbi from the  East Brunswick Chabad Learning Center has been charged with one count of engaging in prostitution with a child and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.  He was one of thirty men charged with having sex with the teenager over a four-week period.

New Brunswick Prisoner Reentry Site to Open Tuesday

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Former Gov. Jim McGreevey, who has made prisoner reentry programs his major focus, will be on hand Tuesday to open a new site on Livingston Avenue. 

McGreevey runs the New Jersey Reentry Corporation (NJRC), a nonprofit agency serving court-involved individuals. The opening is set for 11 a.m. at  57 Livingston Avenue, Unit 3, New Brunswick, N.J.
