Edison, NJ - The Edison Arts Society we will be showcasing Solo Artists John Erdreich and “The Cartoon Goddess” Lauren Rabinowitz.
The new exhibit opens on July 10, 2019 at 6:30 pm and will run thru August 15, 2019. The Gallery, located on the 3rd floor of the Municipal Building in Edison, is open to the public from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm during the business week.
“We are thrilled to have such creative members of EAS to showcase their beautiful photographs and paintings with us,” said Gloria S. Dittman, President of the Edison Arts Society.
John Erdreich, who earned degrees in electrical engineering from Newark College of Engineering and a Ph.D. in Physiological Acoustics from The University of Michigan, returned to New Jersey following positions as a professor at the University of Oklahoma medical school and a research scientist at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health in Cincinnati. He later retired to pursue his interests in sailing and photography. The photographs in “Wanderings: People and Places” are from the extensive travels he and his wife have experienced in recent years.
Lauren Rabinowitz received her BFA from the Parsons School of Design and MA from Syracuse University. She has worked professionally as a designer, illustrator and animator for over 25 years. Her art has been shown and sold in galleries, boutiques, cafes and restaurants. For the past 15 years Lauren has offered private training sessions in web design, content management systems, social media, Adobe Creative Cloud tools and other software applications.
