Edison, NJ -  Edison High School's Marching Band took 1st place in the USBands National Competitions Group IV-Open. On Saturday, November 10th,  the Edison High School Marching Band captured the Championship  at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, where the band competed against eight other bands from surrounding states. Edison High School's Marching Band  finished with a 97.588 score, along with winning the caption for Best Visual. This is the first time since 2014 that Edison High School finished first in this competition.   Edison High School’s first place finish follows a first place finish at the USBands Regional Competitions for Group IV on November 3, 2018 and a first place finish at the USBands State Competitions for Group IV on October 28, 2018.
