Edison, NJ – On October 9, the Edison Public Library will explore the Apollo 11 landing on the Moon with NASA Solar System Ambassador Frank O'Brien. The seminar runs from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the North Edison Branch, located at 777 Grove Avenue in Edison.

Apollo 11 launched from Cape Kennedy on July 16, 1969, carrying Commander Neil Armstrong, Command Module Pilot Michael Collins and Lunar Module Pilot Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin.  Mr. O’Brien will describe the highlights of the mission, and the problems they overcame to safely return to the Earth. He will also discuss the role of the engineers and technicians involved with the mission.
