EDISON, NJ - Shreya Jangada, a student at John Adams Middle School in Edison, earned an honorable mention in C-SPAN’s national 2018 StudentCam competition.

Jangada will receive $250 for her documentary, "Their Voices," about voting. Students in this year's competition addressed the theme, “The Constitution & You: Choose a provision of the U.S. Constitution and create a video illustrating why it's important to you."

“Altice USA congratulates Shreya on this achievement. As a media and technology company, Altice USA shares C-SPAN’s commitment to providing educational opportunities for our young leaders to develop media skills that enable them to effectively express their opinions on issues that are important to them and share these opinions more broadly through technology” said Lee Schroeder, executive vice-president, government and community affairs, Altice USA. “We are proud of the students that participated in this contest and expressed their views on issues that are important to them, their community and our nation.”
