On April 6, seven J.P. Stevens High School Odyssey of the Mind teams competed in a State Tournament.  All seven won either first, second or third place. Overall the J.P. Stevens took 7 out of 15 medals awarded at the competition.

Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college. Team members apply their ingenuity and creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics, according to the organization.
