EDISON, NJ - Edison Township Mayor Thomas Lankey announced on Thursday that the annual Spring Clean-up is postponed because of the impact of the Coronavirus.  The town-wide clean-up was scheduled to take place as follows:

 

Mon…………… Sat.   Apr. 18th         Districts 1 & 6

Tues…………… Sat.   Apr. 25th         Districts 2 & 7

Thurs………….. Sat.   May 9th          Districts 4 & 9

“We are taking every possible precaution in our efforts to increase the positive effects of social distancing as we continue to fight this unprecedented pandemic,” said Lankey.  “Like so many around the world, Edison residents have not been spared the impact of this awful virus and we will use every tool at our disposal to protect all of our friends and neighbors.  The sacrifices we make now to allow for inconveniences are meant to shorten the time we will all have to spend in isolation and, more importantly, to save lives.  Remember, although you have to practice social isolation for the time being, you are certainly not alone.”
