Edison, NJ – Leaf bags will be distributed at the Municipal Complex, through November 8.  Bags will be distributed at the first floor lobby of the municipal complex, located at 100 Municipal Blvd. 

“We are glad to once again be able to offer this free service to our residents. It’s always a popular program,” said Mahesh Bhagia, Special Assistant to Mayor Lankey.

“By providing these leaf bags, we hope to assist residents and neighborhoods collect and remove unwanted leaves from their property. It will also help keep our streets and sewer drains clear," said Mr. Bhagia

The Township also provides an annual leaf collection program.  Leaf Collection will begin on October 21st through December 22nd as scheduled. The collection schedule is based upon resident's recycling section.

Only leaves are collected during the Leaf Collection Program.  The Township will not accept or pick-up leaves that are contaminated with grass, branches, stones or other debris during this season.

There will be no leaf collections on the following holidays:  Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving & the Day after Thanksgiving.

The leaf bags are available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays (October 12, 19, and 26).

The Township stated that supplies of the leaf bags are limited.
