Edison, NJ – The Edison Public Library will be hosting a seminar titled “Fall Prevention” at the Clara Barton Branch Library on September 6, from 2p.m. to 3p.m.
“One of the greatest risks within the senior population, both physically and financially, relates to a fall event,” said organizers. “This guide provides an understanding of the implications of and associated risks for falls in the older adult population. It includes an interactive presentation with tips on how to create and implement a fall prevention program.”
The program aims to educate attendees2 through handouts with demonstration of exercises which promote strength, endurance, balance and flexibility, all necessary to promote safety in the older generation.
