Edison, NJ - The JFK Medical Center Foundation will be hosting its 11th Annual Miles for Minds 5K and Fun Run/Walk at Roosevelt Park in Edison on July 28th at 9a.m.
“Each year since 2008, the JFK Foundation has hosted the race to raise money for the Center for Brain Injuries and its patients,” said organizers.
The Foundation’s goal is to raise $100,000. Proceeds will benefit JFK’s Center for Brain Injuries whose goal is to treat patients with brain injuries and help them recover to the maximum level.
“While the race is appropriate for all skill levels, for those who are looking for an easier "pace," there is a Fun/Run Walk around the park's lake prior to the race,” advised organizers. The 5K race is a USATF-NJ sanctioned 500 point Grand Prix Event, according to organizers.
