Edison, NJ -  The Parkinson’s Foundation will be hosting an educational forum for those newly diagnosed and their families on April 13, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Sheraton Edison Raritan Center.  Registration and breakfast begin at 9 a.m.

The forum will educate newly diagnosed individuals and families coping with Parkinson’s disease. According to organizers, “this event will provide an opportunity to connect with others in the Parkinson’s community, hear expert speakers share tips and tools on how to best manage PD, and learn about available information and resources both nationally and in the New Jersey area.”

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in Parkinson’s specific therapies and exercise, and listen to live music from local musicians.  The Elk-Ward Trio and Joe Grushecky and Joe D’Urso will be performing at the event.
