SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - The South Brunswick Police is awaiting official test results to determine whether or not the driver of a vehicle suffered a medical crisis that may have led to his crossing the line into oncoming trafic on Route 130 on June 25.
South Brunswick Police were called at 8:45am to Route 130 near Fresh Ponds Road for a two car crash. A preliminary investigation by Officers with South Brunswick Police Department Traffic Safety Bureau determined that a 2011 Hyundai Elantra, driven by Wei Guan age 60 of Edison, NJ, was traveling south on Route 130 when it crossed the center median and struck a 2012 Chevy van, driven by Victor Alfonso Soria-Alverez age 32 of Annapolis, MD, as it was traveling on Route 130 north, says a report issued by the Soouth Brunswick Police Department today.
Guan was pronounced deceased at the scene and was the sole occupant of his vehicle. Soria-Alverez and two additional occupants from the other vehicle were to taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Traffic was impacted as officers were on scene for over five hours investigating the crash. Soria-Alverez was issued summonses for operating a commercial vehicle without a commercial driver's license, unlicensed bus driver, and touring privileges of nonresident drivers.
