Edison, NJ – The Edison Police Department is hosting “Lemonade with a Cop” from 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursday July 11 and again on July 25.  The events will take place off Oak Drive in Roosevelt Park, near the lake, according to the department.

“This a casual way for community residents to chat with their police officers, offer us ideas or express their concerns,” Police Chief Thomas Bryan said. “We hope this will be a relaxed, refreshing way for youngsters, their parents and our seniors to enjoy a nice summer afternoon in the park.”

Residents who attend Lemonade with a Cop” will be offered ice cold lemonade and lemon ice. They will also have an opportunity to meet with members of the Department’s command staff.

On July 11,  Chief Bryan, Police Capt. Ken Schreck, Lt. Robert Dudash, and Officer Keith Jackson will be joining the event, according to the department.
