Edison, NJ – The Edison Recreation Department will be “Adventures in Babysitting” on March 12 and March 13.  The  program is for Edison teenagers in grades 6th through 9th, who want to learn the fundamentals of babysitting.

Individuals who complete the two day program will receive a certificate of achievement.  Guest speakers from the Edison Police & Fire Departments will teach and test the teenagers in the areas of Home Security Advice and Fire Prevention Procedures.

The two day training will be held at the Minnie B. Veal Community Center, located at 1070 Grove Avenue, in Edison.  The two sessions will run from 7:00 p.m. to  8:30 p.m.  According to the Township, class size is limited, so early registration is recommended.

To participate in these classes, all teens must have a valid Edison Township teen center membership.
