Edison, NJ – The Edison Eagles defeated the J.P. Stevens High School football team on Friday by a score of 35-0.  The visiting Eagles team scored 21 points in the second quarter and never looked back.   

The Eagles enjoyed a strong performance by Quarterback Lucas Loffredo who completed nine passes for 54 yards,  including three TDs. He also ran the ball in for a touchdown.

Running back Armani Contreras led the Hawks with 27 rushing yards on five carries.

The Eagles next take on the New Brunswick at home on Friday. Meanwhile, the Hawks will look to bounce back against Perth Amboy.
