LAX: The Union Catholic/Wardlaw-Hartidge Boys Improve to 3-0 with Big Comeback Win Over Edison

EDISON, NJ - The Union Catholic/Wardlaw-Hartridge boys lacrosse team kept its early season surge going with a comeback win over Edison on Tuesday in Edison.

UC/WH, a co-op program that was winless in its first year last year, was down 8-3 early in the third quarter before storming back to shock Edison, 10-9, to improve to 3-0 on the season.

Midway through the third quarter, UC/WH began to take control of the game and cut the deficit to 8-5 heading into the final quarter.  After UC/WH tied the score at 9-9, Lucas Danchisko won a face-off and turned it into a fast break, feeding Ryan Brace who put the ball inside the near pipe for the game-winner with just under four minutes to go in the game.

Several players starred for UC/WH.

Joe Stulec had two goals and two assists, Danchisko and Zach Rouf each finished with two goals and one assist, Christian Nowicki scored two goals, and Jack Sartor and Ryan Brace had one goal and one assist.
