EDISON, NJ – South Plainfield’s Chris Shine picked up his second win of the season allowing just one earned run over six innings of work and teammate Sammy Nieves provided all the offense the Tigers would actually need going 3-for-4 with three RBIs, three runs scored and a home run as South Plainfield defeated Edison 11-2. The victory allowed South Plainfield to earn a split in their home and home series with Edison.

The victory improves South Plainfield’s record to 4-1 on the season while Edison falls to 3-1. The Tigers next play Thursday April 11th away at Colonia.
