EDISON, NJ -- Bronwyn Russell of East Windsor, an eighth-grader at The Wardlaw+Hartridge School in Edison, saved two of her best races for the end of her Middle School career. 

In her final home meet on Oct. 23, Bronwyn broke her own girls’ mark and also eclipsed the boys’ course record with a sizzling time of 11:21 to propel the girls’ team to a victory over Edgar Middle School. Three days later in the competitive Pumpkin Run at Gill St. Bernard’s, Bronwyn captured the individual title with a time of 10:52 in a field of 97 runners to help the W+H girls finish second in the team standings.
