2017 Recycling Events for Union County

UNION COUNTY, NJ - Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders and County DPW have announced Recycling Dates. The upcoming events for 2017 are as follows. 

Computer & Electronics Recycling will be held at the Union County Vo-Tech located at 1776 Raritan Rd. Scotch Plains on Sat., April 29, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Scrap Metal Recycling Program will be held at the your choice of Cranford at the  Emergency Services Building 151 Kenilworth Boulevard or Park Service Yard in Rahway at Rahway River Park. The events will be held on the 1st. Thurs. and 3rd. Sat. of each month through Nov. from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (April Sat. date is April 22, the 4th Sat. moved for holiday.)

Household Hazardous Waste Collection will be held at the Union County Vo-Tech located at 1776 Raritan Rd. Scotch Plains on Sat., April 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Mobile Paper Shredding at the Union County Vo-Tech on Saturday, located at 1776 Raritan Rd. Scotch Plains on April 1, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  (Limited to 4 bags/boxes per car.)

These events are for Union County Residents only and are open rain or shine and no pre- registration required.
