Annual Arts Festival in Roselle Park Accepting Creative Submissions

ROSELLE PARK, NJ - Roselle Park Loves Arts is accepting submissions for its third annual Arts in the Street Festival in the downtown area of the borough. 

“We are accepting entries for 2D, 3D, mixed media, photography and sculpture,” said Pam Reinoso, coordinator of the event. “This is an excellent opportunity to exhibit and sell your creations,” 

Applicants should submit their work online. Applications have a $25 administrative fee.

The festival is an annual day-long celebration, featuring local, statewide and professional artists in a variety of media. Visitors experience an outdoor showcase of artists, master classes, discussions of film, animation, gaming, dance, music and more.

This year, cash awards will be given in several categories for the Art Walk. Over 3,000 people attended last year's event. 

The festival will take place on Sept. 23, from 1 to 6 p.m. and the music festival will run until 9 p.m. in the downtown area of Chestnut Street. 

The event is sponsored by Kean University, Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Roselle Park 24/7, TAPinto Roselle Park.net and the Borough of Roselle Park.
