ELIZABETH, NJ - The Annual Memorial Weekend Waterfront Festival brought much food, music and fun to Front Street from 1p.m. - 9 p.m.on Saturday.
Amor 93.1 FM provided live salsa music on the main stage while the rest of the street was scattered with food vendors such as The Spot Latin Grill that sold food and pina coladas. Rancho Matteo provided a variety of shish kabobs while other booths sold funnel cakes and zeppoli.
“It’s a good time,” said Cesar Anaya, a local resident attending the festival. “The food is great.”
For children there were many games and carnival rides including a ferris wheel, spinning cups and a carousel as well as live pony rides.
Those who prefer shopping also had an opportunity to do so at the many merchant booths that sold toys, clothing and even sports jerseys.
If you didn’t make it to the festival on Saturday you can catch it again on Sunday.
