The finished product

ELIZABETH, NJ – Joseph Battin School 4 made a commitment May 2 to a greener tomorrow when students and teachers turned an outdoor space into a sustainable place to reduce their environmental footprint.

Together, they personalized a rain barrel and a food compost with environmentally friendly decorations for We Take Charge, an initiative of Unilever.

WE is a movement that brings people together and gives them the tools to
change the world. People can get involved with your family, school, company or as an individual. Their motto is, “Together, we can shift the world from ‘me’ to ‘we.’”
