ELIZABETH, NJ - The Elizabeth Avenue Partnership (EAP) once again opened up the holiday season in Elizabeth with their Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Union Square Plaza on Elizabeth Avenue earlier this week.

Everyone was treated to a festival atmosphere with free hot chocolate, cookies, popcorn and peanuts, Costa Rican Coffee and lots of free giveaways while children enjoyed horse and buggy rides around Elizabeth Avenue.

Santa Claus and Mayor Bollwage arrived via the wagon, while the Jefferson Arts Academy A cappella Choir entertained the crowd before lively dance performances by Joann’s School of Dance and the Absolute Dance Crew performed a number of hip-hop holiday favorites.
