ELIZABETH, NJ - Elizabeth Board of Education President Diane Barbosa is holding special virtual office hours open to all parents or guardians who have a child in the special education program.

Friday was the first day of the virtual marking period for the thousands of students in the Elizabeth Public School system.

“I encourage you, our parents and caregivers, to participate in the education of your children in any way you can,” said Barbosa in a letter that was sent to families. “I promise you that your participation will only help strengthen the bond between you and your child.”
